The Sahara High Fire Cone 5 glaze series is compounded to match porcelain and stoneware bodies. Matt and textured glazes suitable for stoneware as well as transparent gloss glazes for porcelain are included in this series. Sahara High Fire glazes produce interesting effects in both oxidation and reduction and should be brush-applied to bisque ware for the best results. Each glaze requires three coats for proper results, excluding HF-26 and HF-32, which need to be thicker.
